Photo Assistant

As an assistant on our Photography Team, you’ll support the creation of fashion and product photography for our e-commerce channels. In the beginning, you will act as a studio assistant — with the primary goal of prepping incoming product (clothing, shoes, accessories) so that they’re ready to be shot in our in-house studio by one of our photographers — with growth opportunity to take on a larger role in shooting products. You will play a key role in the successful execution of producing images for our website and beyond. This position is a full-time, non-exempt position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

KEY MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overall responsibility for the on-time supply of manufactured goods, meeting and exceeding the company’s quality standards and IMU expectations

Accountable for the successful outcome of any order placed, including quality, timely delivery, and end cost to the company

As the company grows, set, manage and oversee the execution of sourcing, production and quality strategies. It’s important to understand key suppliers' internal QA process.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the execution of the Product Development Calendar (at both seasonal and store set levels)

Drive and execute the Seasonal Production Plan

Drive WIP reports, Time & Action calendar and vendor scorecards

Effectively communicate any critical issues related to order placement, or vendor performance to Senior Management and key cross-functional partners at all times, take necessary actions to resolve, be collaborative and transparent

Build strong cross-functional and vendor relationships through excellent oral and written communications as well as interpersonal skills

Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of production & sourcing processes

KEY FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive the cost analysis and the building of the historical database and negotiate at placement stage for CMT and full package to meet financial targets as the company grows

Manage the accuracy of costing on all styles

Manage the company’s liabilities to maintain them at reasonable levels and to ensure their accuracy and integrity. Partner with Design and Merchandising to strategize prompt utilization

Partner with warehouse operation team to monitor and optimize freight cost by consolidating and selecting the right transportation method while guaranteeing on-time shipments

Manage consistencies between actual freight cost and standards

Manage chargebacks to vendors and RTVs

Validate HTS classification with the company's freight forwarders

Ensure the company is in compliance with all duty and taxation regulations

KEY PRODUCTION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execute the Seasonal Production Plan

Allocate styles based on vendor's capabilities, capacities, performance and profitability

Analyze current PO process and production lead time, to ensure all the requirements are met

Manage the creation of the buy, guaranteeing the accuracy in all terms

Communicate and build consensus with all manufacturers on the seasonal calendars

Partner with the vendors on the production plan at category and style level

Serve as a liaison for the day-to-day operations with vendors to ensure that all activities related to product development, costing, production planning, manufacturing and shipping flow efficiently

Partner with the Raw Materials Manager to monitor that fabrics and materials deliver on time for the execution of the vendor's production plan

Drive resolution of production issues during the manufacturing cycle by teaming up with the Design and Merchandising teams

Partner with Design and Merchandising teams to address quality issues and find applicable resolutions

KEY SOURCING & VENDOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create, maintain and monitor the vendor matrix to guarantee product integrity, efficiency and profitability and to leverage the company's growth

Negotiate capacities to execute both BSR programs and the Seasonal Production Plan

Partner with vendors to create and monitor action plans to improve service, quality and cost

Evaluate vendor's performance using the Vendor Scorecard on a quarterly basis

Lead the creation and implementation of the Company's Vendor Manuals (finished goods and raw materials)

Identify, evaluate and recommend reliable sources that meet quality, service and cost efficiency expectations. When required, execute dual sourcing.

10+ years of experience in production, sourcing and manufacturing

Complete knowledge of the product development process, from initial design concept to final production, as well as strong vendor management experience

Warehouse Associate

You'll be responsible for processing and putting away merchandise, picking and packing merchandise for the stores, conducting Store-to-Store transfers, and helping with cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. You will be helping fuel the entire enterprise by making sure merchandise is handled efficiently, with attention to detail, and with an emphasis on operational rigor and inventory excellence. This position is a full-time, salaried, non-exempt position.
